Day 7

Lets take the questions we came up with yesterday and create an experiment. We will take this experiment and put it into action in class. when we have completed the experiment, come back and comment on how the results compared to our hypothesis.

Day 6

now that we have started working with electricity, lets talk where we get electricity from. Did you know you know that food can produce electricity? We will be working on an experiment using lemons and potatoes. I want you to come up with a good testable question using these items and electricity.

Day 5

Now that we have spent some time establishing what we know about science, let's jump into our first unit. We are going to be starting with electricity. Tell me what you know about electricity.

Day 4

Now something as important as the process of thinking, what do you want to learn about science? Everyone should post at least one thing that they want to learn about or learn more about this year.

Day 3

One of the most important things that I have learned in my experience in with science is that the process is more important than getting the right answer. I am going to give you a question and i want you to show me your process of how you got your answer.

The question for today is:

How many rolls does the school cafeteria go through in the month of November? There are 463 students.

Day 2

Okay, now that we have discussed what science is, let's talk about how to start a good experiment. The first thing we need is a good, testable question. What makes a good question?

Day 1

With the beginning of a new school year, I want to know what know you about science. So let's start with something simple. Tell me what you think science is.
